5. Application
| Parameter | Guidance |
|---|---|
| Mixing | Mix with the polyisocyanate hardener at the stated ratio, and mix only the quantity the shift will use within the pot life |
| Surface preparation | Over a sealed base sanded with 320 to 400 grit: Arcwood SL 260 on open-pore work and wherever the surface will meet water, alcohol or cleaning agents, Arcwood SL 120 on interior dry work only |
| Thinner | Polyurethane thinner specified for the grade. Alcohol-containing thinners react with the hardener and are not used. |
| Film build | 2 coats at 30 to 40 microns dry per coat, within a complete interior system of 60 to 120 microns dry |
| Drying at 30 degrees C | Dust free in 30 to 60 minutes, stack not before 24 hours, full cure over 7 days |
| Shop conditions | Work between 15 and 35 degrees C with relative humidity below about 70 per cent. |
Process. Mix with polyisocyanate hardener at the stated ratio. Spray 2 coats at 30 to 40 microns dry per coat, pot life 3 to 6 hours at 30 degrees C. Dust free in 30 to 60 minutes, stack after 24 hours, full cure 7 days.
